Among the many business hotels around Koriyama Station, we chose this one for its excellent balance of cost-effectiveness and location.
A great feature for me is the microwave provided in every room. Whether you’re on a business trip or exploring the city, being able to warm up a late-night snack or a takeout meal in the privacy of your own room is a bonus.
Access and Location
Hotel LiVEMAX Fukushima Koriyama Ekimae is just a 4-minute walk from the JR Koriyama Station West Exit.
Being so close to the station means you are surrounded by restaurants, convenience stores, and drugstores. It is an excellent base for both business trips and as a hub for sightseeing across Fukushima Prefecture.
Room Review: The Convenience of an In-Room Microwave
The rooms are compact yet thoughtfully designed for functionality.
As mentioned, the in-room microwave is the highlight. Not having to go to a shared area to heat up food allows you to relax completely.
The room was clean, and the desk area was perfect for getting some work done. The bed was really comfortable, ensuring we could get a good night’s rest after a long day of travel.

The hotel provides all the essential amenities. Having an air purifier with a humidifier in the room is a big plus, especially during drier seasons.
The bathroom is a standard unit bath, but it was spotless, and the water pressure was excellent. Everything is compactly organized, making for a very efficient and comfortable stay.

When planning a trip, budget is always an important factor to consider.
For this stay, I booked a non-smoking twin room for two nights via Agoda, coming to a total of CAD 105.66. Given the prime location near the station, securing a two-night stay at this rate felt like exceptional value for money.
